Mayim BialikandMelissa Rauchare back and better than ever!

TheBig Bang Theoryalums will reunite on screen for season 3 ofNight Courtfor the first time since the CBS sitcom aired its series finale in 2019. An airdate has yet to be announced.

From its September 2007 debut to itsemotional two-part series finalein May 2019,The Big Bang Theorydelighted viewers with quirky humor and idiosyncratic characters. Bialik took on the role of Amy, an accomplished neuroscientist who eventually get married toJim Parsons' Sheldon, and Rauch played mircobiologist Bernadette.

While speaking to the outlet about their long-awaited reunion, Bialik joked that she feels like “I should be dressed like Amy and she should be dressed like Bernadette.”

“There’s definitely a lot of surreal moments and just a huge nostalgia factor,” she continued. “Melissa and I were next to each other for nine years of our lives and shared a huge section of our time together, as did the entire cast. She and I were brought on together in season 4 onBig Bang, so we really trudged a very similar path in terms of our timing.”

While she kept quiet on any further details, the formerJeopardy!cohost also toldEWthat fans can expect “meta references” to the science comedy.

Bialik’s appearance onNight Courtwon’t be the first time aBig Bangcast member has made an appearance on the show.

In an episode titled “A Crime of Fashion" that aired in February, Rauch andKunal Nayyaralso had a sweet reunion when the actor took on the role of an A-list fashion designer and Rauch’s love interest.
