Rising two weeks afterits corresponding new moonon Nov. 1, this month’s full moon — nicknamed after the foraging, furry animal —arrives on Nov. 15, peaks at 1:28 p.m. PT and doubles as the last supermoon of 2024.

November’s full moon, also regarded as the Frost Moon, marks the arrival of winter. Per theFarmer’s Almanac, the Beaver Moon nickname traces back to folklore from Native and Colonial Americans, who were said to trap the animals for their thick, winter-ready pelts around this time.

As the full moon radiates in its appearance astronomically, its energyechoes tenfold astrologically, too. The Beaver Moon will be a full moon in Taurus (24 degrees) with effects felt between Nov. 12 through Nov. 19, according to PEOPLE’s resident astrologer Kyle Thomas.

“Full moons often bringheightened emotions, impulsive behavior anddramatic events,” he says. A lunation in Taurus, specifically, “draws attention to” the themes this zodiac sign rules:wealth, income, material possessionsand the physical world in which we live.

Thomas points out several “astrological aspects” that are coloring this lunation, calling it the “most chaotic and shocking” full moon of the entire year. He predicts we can expect “foretelling events spiraling out of control and situations, events and conversations coming out of left field.”

“Everyone will feeltremendously tense, anxious and on edge,” he adds, noting that it’s best to “lie low” at this time. “There will also be a great degree of heightened emotion as the full moon is sextile Neptune and trine Pluto, bringing tremendous levels of intensity to our lives.”

He adds, “To say this is a time of great change and transformation is an understatement… Prepare for a whirlwind across the board.”

As the full moon electrifies your zodiac sign, he predicts “a massive destined event” will come your way. “Major endings, breakthroughs or breakdowns could occur.”

Therefore, Thomas says to use this period to “release the past and anything that isn’t serving you or making you happy,” especially in regards to relationships. “You will suddenly watch as a previous chapter of your life fades away right before your eyes as you step forward into a whole new era.”

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

“You will need to face your past, your baggage, your anxieties and your fears,” says Thomas. “Karma is coming for you.” Thomas says there could be “a big shake-up” with mental or physical health, so take appropriate measures if needed.

Elsewhere in his prediction, Thomas says “secrets or scandals may emerge from the shadows” if you’ve been involved in wicked situations.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

A “huge moment” with friends is arriving,Cancer.

He adds, “Be on the lookout for soulmates, either platonic or romantic.”

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Thomas says the full moon “will ignite” your career as well as “spotlight” your ambitions and public recognition. “An award, promotion, new job offer or publicity may manifest out of thin air,” he puts forth.

Others may find themselves going “a whole new direction” with professional matters around this lunation, Thomas says. “If a job ends near this time, search for a new one that is more fulfilling.”

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

The full moon will give you the “courage” to “step outside of your comfort zone,” predicts Thomas. “You may now see a victory with a long-term project or travel,” he says.

Others may see academic-related successes, like reaching “a milestone” if actively in school or perhaps deciding to “pursue education further” if not currently enrolled, Thomas puts forth. If involved with the media, he says “big news” tied to publishing or international business awaits.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Thomas says you will focus on how you “share, give and receive” in your partnerships. If you have a healthy rapport, he says you may now decide to “crank up the intimacy” — though, if you’re on a rocky road, he says the path to a settlement “may push you in opposite directions.”

Elsewhere in his prediction, Thomas says you could hear news of “a large settlement, payout, scholarship or inheritance” near this time too. “A shift around your assets, stocks and investments” might also occur.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

If you’re not on the same playing field; however, Thomas says this full moon “could bring an intense and dramatic separation or divorce” instead. If single, he advises you to keep your eyes open for a “soulmate connection” who has “long-term potential.”

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

This full moon will bring “a major ending or turning point” to employment matters and responsibilities," predicts Thomas. “If a job is ending or you choose to leave one, be on the hunt for something that is more aligned with your skills and schedule.”

Thomas says you could also reach a “prized professional milestone,” too, if you’ve been “working hard” on something as of late. Your physical health, fitness, diet and exercise could also see “change” around this full moon.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

The full moon is bringing “a surge of energy” to your passion sector, says Thomas, triggering a “significant turning point” around romance, true love, hobbies, fertility or creativity. If single, he predicts you could “cross paths with a soulmate connection.”

While singles should put themselves out there and date up a storm during this lunation, Thomas says those in committed relationships could use this full moon energy to “reignite your spark” with each other.

“Major news around children will come to Capricorn parents,” he adds.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
