“In fact, just a couple months ago, I was told I was not going to be able to have kids naturally,” she added.

“I have always known that me having kids was going to be a long, lengthy process of IVF [in vitro fertilization] and lots of money,” Jo explained in the video. “I had mentally accepted that and now here we are.”Jo mentioned that she felt relieved to finally share the news with her followers, saying she didn’t have to “hide anymore."

“I’m excited to not be hiding anymore. Truly, every time I tried to come on and film, it felt like I was hiding something from you guys,” she continued. “And I guess I was. It’s such a normal thing to hide in your first trimester, just because so many things can go wrong and it’s a scary time.”

Elsewhere in the video, Jo said the pregnancy was “a lot for me to process."

“My life’s about to change a lot and that is terrifying,” she said.Jo also explained that she was “so sick” during her first trimester but said she’s “starting to feel better” in her second trimester.

In her Instagram caption, Jo wrote that she is “so excited for this season of life 💛.““I guess now’s the time to figure out how to be the best mom I can possibly be!” she continued. “Thank you to everyone in my life who has been so supportive the past few months, I wouldn’t want life without you!”

Jo also shared a few reactions from her friends and family — including fellow TikTok starTianna Robillard, who expressed her excitement about the news. Robillard also commented, “I’m so happy for you mama 😭😭😭” on Jo’s video.
